The issue is that simply saying you don't like it is considered sexism and bigotry. Not just for Star Wars but for anything. If you didn't like barbie, you hate women. If you didn't like the latest season of True Detective, then you hate women.

The left is the party against normal. I’m not anyone’s personal assistant so a simple google search will find a deluge of crap calling all of these things right wing and fascist
-wanting a monogamous relationship and children
- enjoying the outdoors
- workin out or generally wanting to be healthy
- aversion of drugs alcohol or porn. This includes the position that only overindulging is bad
- collection of classic literature
- disdain for modernity and particularly post modern ideas proposed solutions and general creepy arse people who made it and support it
- appreciation of history, your nation, and your culture
- interest in your mental well being by means of spirituality rather than the therapist you’ve paid for 29 years bud never seems to solve anything
-wanting a monogamous relationship and children
- enjoying the outdoors
- workin out or generally wanting to be healthy
- aversion of drugs alcohol or porn. This includes the position that only overindulging is bad
- collection of classic literature
- disdain for modernity and particularly post modern ideas proposed solutions and general creepy arse people who made it and support it
- appreciation of history, your nation, and your culture

I find it incredibly off putting anyone is white knighting for this given the corpo whose cum you’re swallowing, the creators chosen, it’s pure seemingly intended lack of quality. You don’t have to stick up for it. Have some kind of standards.

The scene is a flashback she is having and she is visualizing the fire while she is working on some shite in space. Not that the show doesn't deserve to be mocked. It is fairly ridiculous that every single person in charge of anything in the high republic is a woman.

Came here to see how the usuals might be freaking out about a stupid star wars show. Got the fumbest list I've ever seen instead.
I have a family, a large collection of literature that includes a ton of history, go hiking in the mountains at least once a week, and love the idea of people finding mental well-being however they see fit. But you guys are always calling me a lefty.
It looks like you just made a list of things you like and care about and deciding those things are right wing. I find the idea of modernity as disdainful hilarious, but wanting to go back to "the good old days" has been a part of aging and writing since the adventures of writing, so you're certainly not alone. But it's definitely not a right wing though.
Anyway, carry on bitching about a TV show that probably isn't worth anyone's time as though it is the harbinger of the apocalypse.

Things burn in space in Star Wars whenever they want them to. Examples: 4:36 in the following clip, a TIE is burning before it crashes and explodes. 6:48 of the same video shows the Executor’s bridge blow up, but that explosion is followed by a giant continuously burning fire.

My thoughts on the show so far: its fine.
Action is good. I like a few of the characters. Designs are decent.
One of the main questions is what really happened to the twins village. Who is the Sith and how does he factor into it? Im sure the flashbacks will be interesting.
