on 11/29/22 at 11:03 am to SIt's got a lot of the original creative team behind it that turned Netflix down for several years until they had an idea they liked, so I'll give it a chance. I just hope they nailed the casting again, that's really what made the first show successful was the cast chemistry. Judging from the trailer I wasn't impressed with the new group, but I don't think the original group would have really stood out in a teaser trailer either.

Go back and watch the pilot, definitely some rough edges, Im willing to give them some time to gel together, though with a 10 episode season I am hoping they have the time to do so.

I weirdly had some level of hope for this, but that trailer was so bad
It would’ve been a fun concept to see them basically switch the Red/Kitty roles in some ways. Make Red more care free and happy while kitty is more on edge. I feel like that’s what retirement and an empty house would’ve done to both of them, would’ve made red happier and kitty depressed
Idk, maybe I’m roasting this even harder if they went that route, I just think they missed an opportunity to freshen up the concept a bit. This seems more like a “let’s recast everything except the parents because they agreed to be in the show” type of reboot than a real sequel series
