on RT maybe, IMDB audience score, with a similar number of votes and which is no less valid than RT audience score is 8/10 and on Cinemascore (the only one where its not possible to vote unless you have seen the movie) the score is A. This movie is not as hated as everyone here is trying to make it out to be.

Starting to see this argument more and more to counter the criticisms of people who didn't like the movie.
This movie was hyped all along as "going in a new direction," which I would say most Star Wars fans have been very excited for. The problem is, that new direction was no different than violenty veering onto an unexpected exit off of a highway because the driver of the vehicle just shite his pants.
It wasn't a graceful new direction -- it was a jumbled, smelly mess turn that took you to a one-bathroom gas station in a boring little town. Nothing to be excited about or what you hoped for IMO.
