Roy saying he doesn't care if Nate comes back because he's great at everything Roy is bad at leads me to believe Nate will take over Richmond, Roy will be his #2 and Ted goes back to the states to be with his boy.
Beard is a wild card he may choose to stay with Richmond.

It’s all set up for everyone to have a happy ending, I hope they just don’t completely pull the rug out from anyone.
They were 4 points behind City before this match so I can see them winning the final game in dramatic fashion but City scores at like the exact same time to win their game and the title. Then Ted breaks the news he’s leaving and Nate, Roy, and Beard stay to finish the job.
Jamie’s dad appears and they work it out. Roy and Keeley get back together. Beard stays behind and thanks Ted for giving him his new life, etc.

I think everyone wanted to see him get humbled like Jamie and come back and rehab his imagine
Instead we see him find himself and realize his own faults without something terrible happening for him to do it.
J was definitely on thr “frick Nate” bandwagon and I agree His heel turn lasted like 1 episode and was way too fast. But I do think they’ve out work into rehabbing hjm as a character. We knew Ted was never going to hold a grudge against him.

And didn't they already sleep together again? After his apology note to Keeley there was a scene with her and Rebecca. At the end Roy came down wearing one of Keeley's robes so I assumed they got back together. What threw me off was when Roy said he wants to be more than friends in this episode in Jamie's room. I assumed that was already put to bed, slight pun intended.

This show is great. I just wish they would announce if next week is the series finale or not. It sure feels like it but they haven't made it official and are still wishy washy on the whole thing.

Probably so. Jamie was 23 in first year and I can absolutely see his mom having hims when she was very young- say 18 or so.

Keeley, Jamie and Roy end up in an open relationship and do threesomes all the time. Keeley always liked getting the spit-roasting.

I just rewatched it and had missed all the noises from Ted as he left rooms with his mother. I also missed Will passed out drunk by the time they made it back to Richmond.

Had the same thought. Roy has potential as a coach but it seems pretty clear he’s not the Wonder Kid and I think Nate takes over.

I’ve been thinking about this episode a lot.
The whole series Ted has had this super positive influence in people by being extremely kind and extremely well positive. You see all over the show that effecting people and changing them for the better
But in Ted’s own storyline they portray this aspect as him as this enormous cover for all his problems. Even making it something that his mom does too.
It feels like such a conflict in message.
