I hate this technicality.
I mean, yeah he didn't physically have it but he "had" it and it was in play.
This season should absolutely come down to Rizo and Savannah.
They are the only 2 left that have done anything at all. But, someone will make the mistake of carrying Christina to the end and she will win with the jury.
Final 5 should be in this order.
Savannah
Rizo
Sophie
Sage
Christina
Are we ready to say Savannah is good at comps now? Or, were these last 2 built for her as well?
I don't normally have a fear of small animals but, having a rat run into my foot in the middle of the night would make me go crazy and start hunting rats.

The rule of that advantage is it has to be played before tribal. Probably has to do with the producers having everything prepared. So, it was not still in play. It had already been played. Although, your argument made me realize there is no point to him bringing the advantage to tribal ever. So, that might trigger a change going forward.

This is why I asked that question last week.
It seems like production did this on purpose in order to stir the pot and negate Sophie’s KIP, which sucks. We finally get someone that gains an advantage and keeps it absolutely secret, which almost never happens, and they purposefully put another very public power in play that almost guarantees that hers will be used incorrectly.
I guess she could have, and should have, used it last week, but I guess that would have burned her potential bridge with Steven and possibly even shaken up how the votes went last week so she didn’t want to make any waves.
But still seems like a big FU from production toward Sophie.

I don’t feel too bad for Sophie. If she wanted to give herself a legitimate shot at winning, she takes Rizo’s idol and votes him out at 5. Now he’s guaranteed 4 and if he makes it to 3, I think he wins even over Savannah.

For a season that started with a very unappealing cast, once it got down to the final 8 or 9 I’ve enjoyed it. The tribals have been great every week since then.

As undeserving as she is, Kristina is probably more qualified than Mary Ann, the winner from a few seasons ago. People shrugged and assumed the editors left Mary Ann’s game on the editing room floor.
In last night’s episode, she screamed about hating the island because of the rats. No one likes the rats but she’s the only one who couldn’t hold it together. Same with how she screamed for her mom a few episodes back. She’s a bottom rung “outlaster.”
Rizo and Savannah could “steal” jury votes from the other and Kristina could get enough votes to win.
It looks like she breaks both her ankles next week when she slides into a pile of sawdust.
Going into the finale, I’m saying Rizo wins. Looking forward to the show.

To me it's out of Rizzo and Savannah. If Sage makes it to final three, I don't think she has any chance as she has screwed over anyone who's given her an opportunity. Any combo of Sage, Kristina, and Rizzo or Savannah results in a runaway winner. If Rizzo and Savannah both go final three, I think Kristina gets the benefit of a split vote.

I could see a potential scenario where Cristina steals a win... she gets 4 black/sympathy votes and Rizo/Savannah/Soph split 3-1 or 2-2.
Juwan would vote for Sage so her in the finals lessens the chance.

Can someone please further explain this? Block a vote and steal a vote have to be played before Tribal??
What if they don’t plan to use it? Can they leave it/hide it back at camp, or are they “forced” to bring along with them? Otherwise why would you ever bring it with you?
So if he actually had it on him and she steals it with the Knowledge advantage, she can’t play it to aid her side at the same tribal? This seems like a nonsensical sloppy rule.

Savannah has been a target for most of the season yet, she's still there.
I hated Rizo in the beginning. People have wanted him out for a long time as well yet, he's still there.
Sage is one of the most unlikeable people I've ever seen.
Christina and Sophie seem likeable but, haven't really played very good
games.
Sophie has survived by being aligned with the right people.
Christina has just been carried along.

Don’t disagree with anything you said but this group is a bunch of dumbasses. Savannah and Rizzo are the dorks of the group. Stupid is as stupid does. I sure hope season 50 is better than this group of oxygen thieves.
ETA: The remaining Sophie is beyond a doubt one of the weakest players in Survivor history

I think Savannah has this in the bag already. Nobody will beat her in the upcoming immunity challenges. And if they do, she has her trio. I also think the jury doesn’t respect Rizzo’s game. We shall see.
