Even though Brandon is a poor excuse for a man, I have to say I enjoyed the hell out of watching him struggle. It was absolutely hilarious. I was extremely surprised when he somehow made it up that wall. I don't know if it was his team or another, but the use of the buffs to get up was genius.
Yep it was hilarious. I guess they don't do anything to check these people out before allowing them on the show.

HOLY shite That is the most embarrassing individual performance I have ever seen on survivor. A "Man" straight up cried when Jeff called on him, he then went on to have a bitch fit and couldn't climb up a LADDER on the side of a boat.
Does CBS just pick out the most estragen filled men they can find?
That was ridiculous. He had a full on panic attack! I'm a 62 year old woman and I'm pretty sure I could climb that ladder. Could he even swim? Did the water freak him out? You shouldn't go on survivor if you've never swam in a lake or ocean.

for the most part this entire cast seems to have little or no survival skills. Left to actually survive on the island, they'd all likely be dead in a month or less.

How could anything be "because of time constraints" when they got a whole 90 minutes?

And the first call I made was to [casting director] Jesse Tanenbaum and Dr. Liza, our head psychologist, to say, “Add this into our data, because we got it wrong.
Or they casted hoping to get a certain outcome.

I think they might have had to add some time introducing the idea of the quitter into the episode. It wouldn’t have made any sense if she just quit in TC out of the blue. So they had to build 3 storylines (Brandon, psycho, and quitter) for potential losers.
It was pretty admirable or dumb of Brandon to try to talk the quitter into staying since he was the most obvious target.
People making fun of Sean (?) for getting upset about the girl quitting don’t remember a few seasons ago when MaryAnn let out a shriek and wailed when someone left on day 1 or 2 and she ended up winning.
Probst said he didn’t give the quitter a hard time because he knew social media would destroy her after the airing. He used to give quitters a hard time because viewers didn’t have an option to vent like they do now and he layer the smack down for the viewers.

doesn't make any less sad/embarrassing.
I make fun of all criers.

So the quitter and the almost quitter are gone. The racist is somewhat reformed. Maybe the tribe can avoid tc next time.

It was interesting that Probst brought up the modified “sit out” rules. I wonder if that foreshadows a Lulu win next week?
So far, the 3 players who seem to me to be good bets to go far in the game are black. The 2 strongest Lulu members and the civil rights lawyer. The nurse, Sean, and Dee are good too but next tier at this point. Boston Lawyer guy appears to have some sort of seizure next week so he might be going home with or without TC.
We can all make fun of Brandon but that guy had great hair.

Catching up... amazing how terrible one can tribe can be.

Amazingly one of the most non survival cast of all time!

Just watched current episode after midnight and came looking for discussion…. I had to go searching back to page 3 to resurrect this thread.
Nevertheless, I thought this was a pretty good episode. Quality tribal council with a rewarding payoff.

It’s funny how a player like Sabiyah can play the game so hard to try to convince the tribe to do a certain thing and show she’s not a trustworthy ally and then be surprised when the other players conclude she’s a threat.
The three remaining Lulu’s are in a good spot for the time being because the other alliances will come to them as swing voters.

Yep.
A much needed satisfying episode after the Hannah & Brandon debacles.

I haven't caught up on the thread yet because my wife and I haven't finished the episode, but I just wanted to drop this in here before I forget.
Does anyone else get super annoyed when the losing tribe from the episode before enters the challenge area and half the people gasp when they realize who got voted out? Sometimes it's warranted, but Wednesday's episode may have been the least warranted gasp in show history. You saw how unbelievably terrible Brandon was at challenges. He was the most obvious person to get voted out. If anything, they should've gasped if he was still there. What is shocking about a 25 year old man with bitch tits that weeps constantly and can't climb a fricking ladder getting voted out?

This season has been really good.
90 minute episodes really let them stretch their legs and give room for character development.
The twists aren't overdone, and are not overpowered.
They (so far) have dropped the depression segments multiple times per episode.
Tribal council seems more game related and not "how has this experience been"
We are getting a swap next week!
Got rid of old puzzles that players could game.
Fixed it where players couldn't sit out challenges consecutively.
All really great changes.

Tika nailed this last season , but mostly thanks to the swap. We’ll see how it goes.
I really like Kaleb and glad he wised up and trusted Emily. He’s too obvious as a strong player though, I’d be shocked if he makes it to FTC.
