Boils down to human nature, most can't keep quiet. They want attention.

Yeah, they just can't stand knowing a secret and not being able to share... so they find someone they think they can trust and blab away.

Which is never kept a secret. What I laugh at is at the end when people get mad at those who turned on them. You play to win the game, period.

Enjoyed the episodes overall.

-Love having an all new cast
-The idols and advantages from the past are a fun touch
-I'm not sure how I feel about the games on Ghost Island
-I honestly thought Donothan was a woman (or a Zeke) until they did the introductions
-At first I wanted Jacob to go but then his quirkiness started to grow on me and I wish he had stuck around
-Finding the idols are WAY too easy if that dude found that in the dark. He, by the way is my least favorite player so far, Domenick, I think?
-James trying to swim... lol. If you can't swim then say you can't and don't participate.
-Stephanie is a contender, plus she looks great in those cheshire cat pants
-I agree that none of the men seem particularly strong, besides maybe the furniture maker. Of course I don't even know all of their names yet so there is time to change my mind.
-I'm not a fan of the tribe switching already. It's way too early and alliances haven't had a chance to really develop. With it happening this early at 18, I'm guessing they split to 3 tribes of 6, which I don't like either.

I could have handled bizarro Seth Rogen for a few more weeks.

I think there's some strategy at telling secrets this early in the game. It's a way to build trust and a relationship when they're still trying to get to know each other.

Donathan has no chance

Early on, I thought this but now thanks to his glorious "hero" moment, I'm not so sure his name will get brought up as quickly.

Calling it now. If he's able to survive the early "we need to keep the strong" phase, he's in the final four due to being the adorable gay guy that poses no threat.

Jeff had an orgasm over him diving into the water. He basically put a giant target on his back. He'll probably make the merge but no one will want him anywhere near the end.

Jeff has done this long enough to know exactly how to build up a moment and what drives ratings.

Agree that Donathan won't sniff the end.

I could see a scenario wtih Donathan being sort of like Ryan from last season, and carried to the end by stronger players because everyone sees him as a potential vote instead of as a threat.

Agree with you on that, he is no threat at all. Keep him around for his vote.

ok.. I'm back... haven't checked in bc i didn't want the spoilers and just finished last night..overall, i thought it was a decent first episodes, its usually takes things a minute to get going anyhow... pretty much everything has been touched on that i was thinking, but geez....

-ill never understand why they feel the need to tell, especially this early on. in Jacobs case, the fake idol story wasn't even remotely believable. he's an idiot. i think he should have come back and told exactly everything, made a group decision as ti who gets it, and at least gains some trust as a tribe player.

-donathan and james in the water... beyond pathetic. and fact is, even though d did finally do it, i don't see it as a hero move at all, his tribe, as well as jeff had to basically beg him to even try it. thats ridiculous. and james... I'm not saying he should be voted off immediately for that, but tell me... WHY did someone not say, james, if you aren't good at swimming are going underwater, then PLEASE tell us, so that we can make sure we have the right people in the right places going forward.. damn

- the other dude and his fake idol story...maybe not the best plan, but kinda clever to actually have it, but produce a fake to go with the note, i could see that making one hell of a backdoor if played right

i will say this, i was super pumped that they all went against gonzalez when she tried to be all high and mighty and whisper to everyone to vote donation alienating him like that. I'm glad they busted her arse

i dunno, a little too early for me to have any favorites just yet, but i think stephanie makes a decent run at it if she can keep the target off of her for a minute. i agree with everyone else, finding immunity idols has become very predictable and somewhat of a snoozefest that needs to be revitalized somehow.

isn't it amazing..."we got to find an idol to stay in the game!" several people run off into the jungle to find an idol and "oh my god I found a hidden immunity idol!" smdh

I thought Wendall was Donald Glover.

What, you just think all black men look the same?

Or maybe he could pass as Donald Glover's twin. They do look a lot alike.

And the second person kicked off looked a lot like Seth Rogen. Maybe this was actually "cast a celebrity look alike" season?
