No surprises last night even though they tried to edit it that way. They were always taking jp to merge (he's a dummy and can't win, but might squeeze out some immunity wins and would be a vote)

Really bummed Ali is gone. She was the only only I really liked, though Ben has grown on me.

Well, nailed that.
I don't think he even really considered going for JP.. Ryan and Chrissy see him as a number once they merge. He won't win all the immunity challenges, he's just by far the strongest on that tribe, so he'll also make a nice patsy for them at some point.

Chrissy is a huge threat, imo. She's pretty much running that side. They went after Jessica because she was buddy buddy with Cole and they were afraid Joe would use the idol on himself or Cole. They needed to flush the idol.

I thought there was going to be another Survivor auction when one tribe struggled to even walk up the beach. I wanted to see someone spend $500 on a plate of nachos.

I agree that Joe’s days are numbered. He’s on the bottom of numbers, has an awful mouth, and has already played two idols.

Considering how full of himself that he is, you would think he would have made a better play. You really have 2 options with the idol. Once he started wearing the idol at tribal, you don't have to play it that night. That's the whole point of making that display in the middle of tribal. If he was planning on playing the idol, he shouldn't have removed any doubt that he had an idol.

That proves exactly what I said about the previous tribal where he was like I READ YO FACE!!
He was always playing the idol for himself both times and nothing else ever seriously crossed his mind. He knew he may get votes and simply wasn’t going to take any chance of not playing it or giving it to someone else. I don’t even blame him, but acting like some Jedi after that first tribal just showed how full of shite he is.
The guy never would have even found the fricking idol if dumbass Cole didn’t figure out the clue for him.

That was honestly one of the best tribals I can ever remember though. I had no clue how everyone was voting going into it, but once Joe popped off I knew Ben wasn’t going to throw his hat in with that side.
I sure hope Chrissy doesn’t get too overconfident because I am digging her right now but I’m thinking she is getting too full of herself.
She has no clue that Ben and Lauren, who are also getting very cocky, were wavering and eventually those two will battle it out with Chrissy and the bellhop. Hoping Dr Mike lines up with them at some point and forms a super nerd alliance.

I don’t know why the first guy that saw the idol clue on the plate didn’t hide it before anyone else saw it. Though it was fun watching the mad scramble for it back at camp.
