When has the talking crap and being a huge arse model ever worked. "I read your face baby girl" and dancing like a spoiled egotistical brat. Yep that's going to work out for you.
Oddly enough this strategy will get you to the final vote if you are smart enough (Kaf Kaf Russel Hantz Kaf Kaf) But you have no shot at the million. You still have to face 2 on 2 at the next tribal if you lose and now you have pissed off the others enough not to sway their votes away from you without an idol backing you up. I just don't get him acting like this but buffoons gonna buffoons.

Joe played that one well, but I don't see him making it much further. I wouldn't be surprised if Desi turned on him next time they go to tribal.

I honestly don’t think he played it all that well. I think he was just always playing it for himself. Period.
He didn’t read it in her face or whatever bullshite he said. He wasn’t going to leave himself unprotected, so he played the idol. If she went home, so be it.
Playing it well would have been not stupidly lying to the red team guy, then going even more psycho than the football player guy.
Hell, if he had played it well, he would have spent two seconds talking to red guy and blue chick and realized he could have gotten both of them to vote out football guy and then still had his idol and a tribe that didn’t all hate him.
That dude is a complete idiot and will talk himself out of the game at any moment. He is pretty much exactly like football guy, just happened to have an idol because some other dumb yellow guy told him where it was after he couldn’t decipher the clue.

Wow, no idea what that kid was thinking betraying Ali like that and voting Roark out. Especially after his pitiful performance in the reward challenge. Put an unnecessary target on his back.

Producers insisted he keep wearing it?
I think that was likely a mistake on Ryan's part, but it was quite satisfying to see the smug bitch sent home. Now Ryan has no choice but to team up with Chrissy and JP to send Alli home next if they lose, but that's another big threat gone as well.

Yeah... but more so not letting Alli in on his thought on voting Roark. Alli appears to be one of the "smarter" players but for whatever reason Ryan didn't want Alli to know. Looks like they are not as tight as the show has been showing.

I disagree. People who flip and vote with the strong side make it to the end in survivor. Plus he's my episode 1 pick to make it to final due to the insane edit he's getting

I don't want this to happen, simply because I enjoy looking at Ali's arse during challenges or anytime they show her walking away.

Yeah, after thinking about it I don't think it was that bad of a move. I just like Ali and hate how it screwed her over. But she seemed to be having some reservations about his longevity in the game because of his reward challenge performance. Hopefully Ali can save herself. She's the only one on this season I really like or care about.

I think its always part of the editing as well. If they leave for tribal with a clear cut person they are gonna vote off, not gonna happen

I like Chrissy quite a bit. You can tell she’s smart and can see why she’s successful.
Was awesome that she saw right through that cyborg Roarke’s attempt at acting when she was like “I have no objection to that plan”
That was an even more satisfying blindside than the ginger gump. At least that guy was just trying to have fun, as annoying as he was. This smug bitch needed a take down something awful.
Hopefully bellboy can get Alli and Chrissy on the same page. No idea why they seem so averse to each other.
Pretty rare that my two favorites are huge rivals.
Interested to see how it plays out.

To be fair, it was at Tribal Council, not a confessional. I mean what else are you you going to say there? "No, i am extremely uncomfortable because i think that weasel faced Cochran wannabe is going to screw me over." No, you save your doubts for the talking heads and try to shift the target onto someone you think has a chance to be voted out over you.

Both are playing the game pretty hard and seeing how alliances with other people will affect them down the road. They are using each other now but it appears Ryan is looking at Ali as a threat down the road.
On a different note-- we have 2 teams with four and 1 team with five. Are we going to get a 2 team merger or a 1 team merger in a couple of weeks. No hint in the previews that it will happen this week.

The only thing I found interesting this year is the cute romance between the virgin and the guy. And I dont even remember their names...so, so far its a pretty boring season for me

And the virgin and sex doctor got hooked up in their own little alliance which is probably a good move since "the guy" is pretty much the camp idiot.
I agree the show so far has been pretty meh... nothing has really been turned on its head accept for the manufactured drama with an idol and "secret" advantage/ disadvantage and reshuffling of the tribes. Its like the season is still in setup mode for when the real merger does occur.
The ones voted off so far were really not that likable for any real drama.
