We deserved a 2nd justice league movie with Darkseid and Henry Cavill. DC is supposedly be darker than marvel. They were going in the right direction but giving it to the guy who made guardians of the galaxy was a bad move imo.

Looks like CW with a slightly higher budget. Hopefully it's fun and light but not too cheesy.

Its fine that people criticize it, and at no point I ever said I was hoping the new Superman failed. Henry Cavil ended up being a way better superman than anyone expected, and blew Brandon Routh stalker version of superman out of the water too. Where there problems, of course, the whole pa kent thing was stupid, but overall, he fit.
TLDR: Henry proved people wrong. It was earned after the naysayers.
Right now this new guy didn't earn shite. I will go and watch it to see if he is any good but from the way they are doing things it looks like a two hour legend of tomorrow show/ Supergirl tv series. I hope it does well, but Krypto inclusion feels pretty dumb and gives off the vibe that it would be campy.
If anything, they should have went with Nice Cage Superman version of an A.I companion if they wanted to have a side kick, that's mroe inline with Kryptonians culture, not a dog with a red cape on its neck...
Anywho. Hoping for the best but expecting the worse ,and that Superman MoS trailer still blows the 2025 out of the water.

But I think it’s looking great so far. If I was to make a Superman movie, this would be the tone and relative casting I would do.
