I'll probably see it this weekend, based on what I hear over the next few days.

I am very hopeful this is good. I WILL see it this weekend if people I trust say it is a good movie and not woke.

So now all the paid shills will give it good to great reviews in an effort to try and get people to see it first weekend. Once audiences see it, those reviews are less controlled.
I don’t go to movies opening weekend anymore because 99% of them suck and I don’t take film critic reviews seriously with how corrupt they are.
It will be interesting to see how audiences react, but I am expecting “meh…” as the main one.

Eventually people will realize that this overrated twink caught lightning in a bottle with GotG and will never be able to recreate his success.
The cast, soundtrack, and good source material carried those movies. From a pure film sense they are kind of a mess at times.
I'm hopeful his Superman is good, but not expecting it to be.

Peacemaker and Idris Elba Suicide Squad were pretty fricking good

It was a set of characters that fit his style.
Suicide squad was awful and not sure how anyone thought it was even remotely entertaining.
He's a decent director when the material fits his approach. This is not one I think will.

You're going to be in the minority for not liking The Suicide Squad. Unless for some reason you meant Suicide Squad (2016), in which case I agree

I love the scene where Cena and Elba are murdering all those dudes thinking they're the enemies

I don’t really care for Superman as a character, but I am surprisingly interested in seeing this. Maybe it’s the fresh lighter take on him. Judging by the trailer, there is a lot crammed into this movie. There are so many different set pieces and tones that the review calling it episodic makes sense.
I have low expectations. They had to insert Kyrpto to build the hype. That said, I expect an entertaining, but forgettable, popcorn summer movie with a mid story.

He might be in the minority in thinking it was terrible, but definitely not in the minority for thinking it wasn't a great movie. A 7.2/10 on IMDB with 400+ thousand votes is the definition of average. It was also a huge bust financially.
It definitely didn't suck like the first one did, but it was extremely mediocre. And I was expecting to love it based on digging all the DC animated suicide squad stuff as well as really liking Gunn's stuff typically.

No I meant The Suicide Squad. It was awful, but since it was not near as bad as the initial one, people over praise it.

Never said it was a great movie, just that the majority of people who watched it, liked it

Nonsense. No one's saying it's an Oscar winner. Some of just enjoyed it for what it was.
