To me this would greatly devalue the Nolan Batman trilogy and the villains therein. Think about it...had Superman been around then the Joker, Bane, etc. would have been no threats whatsover if facing Superman's ultrahuman abilities. But somehow we just forget that when Batman and Supes coexist in the new flicks? Eh...just seems to cheapen what the recent Batman trilogy provided.

While I'm not a fan of this idea either, in their defense the Nolan trilogy will be in no way connected to this series. It won't devalue the Nolan trilogy, but I'm almost certain it will devalue Man of Steel or MoS will devalue the sequels to come since they shot their wad on that movie.

Because the last batman movie was so bad and the poor reviews of the last superman movie, I have totally lost interest in the super hero genre...
This movie better generate great reviews from people I trust before I even think about watching...

Yeah unless this movie gets great reviews I probably won't even watch. No bale no care. Another Batman is too soon even if JGL is Batman. Or if they introduce a new Batman this is his first movie?

Nolan isn't even writing it. Snyder and Goyer are. Movie is going to be awful just awful

I'm completely exhausted of superhero movies. I loved the Dark Knight trilogy, but I'm done with all superheroes for a few years. It's getting out of hand.

Does Christopher Nolan have to write every Superhero movie? Honestly, they should start trying to move away from the Nolan replicating fair.

Being skeptical is understandable

Saying you wouldnt even watch it is just being dramatic.

This. I don't see how it's so hard to understand that Nolan's Batman is done. His universe is standalone.

If people can't understand that and they are unable to separate these new movies from his, I'm not too sure that says good things about our society.

I'm thankful that I've become easily entertained and ignore reviews.

MoS gave me a lot of faith in the direction of the DC Universe and I believe set up so that a sequel may be better then the 1st. The inclusion of Batman is interesting and could be awesome, but will have to see who it is before that part gets me excited

So Goyer is writing, Nolan is producing, and Snyder is directing. Same thing they all did with MoS. MoS is easily the best film of the year so far (that I've seen anyways and I'm over 35 flicks so far) so I don't see how this anything but good news.

Oh hey there high horse, want to step down for a minute. People may understand it easily, but they don't want to care about it.

I don't want to see a whole new Batman, because they just finished the trilogy. I have no interest in seeing a new Batman, in a newly envisioned universe, and with a new background. I don't care at all about this movie, and it probably says better things about society that I dont nerd out for a clear money grab.

Because I have no interest in this movie? There's nothing psychic about it. I. Just. Don't. Want. It.
