I'm sure you were part of the crowd on here bitching about Will Smith being cast before anyone saw a single clip of the movie.
Two pages back I praised Will Smith and Margot Robbie for their acting in spite of the shite script they had to work with.
It's a comic book movie with a massive ad campaign and August is a slow movie month. It goddamn better break records with the amount of money spent on it.
Are we still really defending mediocrity as an acceptable movie experience?

Concept of Entrantress as a character not main Villain
The Bad:
Everything else
The Joker. I don't even know what to say. What is he in the Waste Management business? Jesus.
Enchantress as a villain
Dialogue is terrible.
The plot was awful

The dialogue just kept getting worse and worse. I felt like I was watching a PG rated movie during the second half of it.
I still enjoyed it for what it was. I just wish people would stop building these films up as so amazing and full of adult content.
And I don't know the comic but I hate it when everything works out in the end. The world is saved, the girl lives, blah blah blah. I like it when doing a great thing comes with great cost.
