If people are finding this movie so "entertaining", then why when they go rate it, they rate it poorly in comparison to Birdman?

But Im saying RT ratings misguide people into thinking they wont enjoy a movie..... a critics bad rating doesnt reflect a theater experience for average moviegoer

I don't think that's true at all. Popcorn "entertainment first" movies get high RT scores all the time.

Because people that enjoy it are borderline retards who struggle to use the internet.

You said 95% of people enjoyed pirates 5 vs bird man. I showed you evidence that you're wrong and you disagree with it

what people are you talking about? Because as I posted earlier there's only a 6% difference in audience score between pirates 5 and birdman

Ok....for everyone who is mad at me all the sudden lets sum up what I'm saying since its getting construed

The original topic was RT ratings deterring ticket sales
I'm saying RT shouldn't factor into movie goers opinions on theater experience.
Yes Birdman was a better movie but for most it wouldn't be as enjoyable to go buy a ticket and watch in a theater. This is easily confirmed by box office sales..... so arguing against it is asinine.

RT isnt at fault. They are a rating service providing ratings, albeit missing a few factors.
The fault lies with the moviegoer in not being able to formulate their own opinion

Geezus.

Okie dokie

Pirates 4 - $1,045,713,802 while having lower ratings and no Oscar buzz..... so explain this if more people would rather go see Birdman in theaters.....

You're comparing it to all other "best picture" winners. You're picking and choosing what you want. I'm just giving you cold hard facts.

The entire argument was pirates 5 vs Birdman. While we're at it lets do Batman vs Superman against Birdman to better further your argument

Pirates 5 has barely been in theaters..... Im confident the final numbers will still crush Birdman.

But if you think I was arguing about just Pirates 5 or just Birdman this whole time.....then you are so far from understanding anything Ive said I almost wanna vomit for wasting this time on you
