Also, finished the finale last night. Incredible. My favorite season this far right next to S1, possibly even better.
Eddie shredding Master of Puppets in the UD might be the greatest single scene in the entire series.
Steve is The Man. Love his character.
With regards to Robin and all the crap several pages back. Robin was a tool to aid in Steve's growth. He was seriously humbled when she came out. Yeah, the writers may have been setting up for something else between the two but they used it effectively and made it work to help in Steve's growth.

My wife and I just caught up and we can’t wait. For some reason we stopped watching mid season 3. I’m so glad we picked it back up. Love this show.
I wish Eddie could get the proper respect he deserved (from the town), but I guess that’s just how things go sometimes.

The MTV board is getting a little better. It only took until page 49 of this thread for it to become cool to hate on ST4.
I thought the Hopper in Russia storyline was great. Lots of great scenes and characters there. Murray, Yuri, Dimitri. All good.
Why is it crazy Hopper can kill a demigorgon with a sword that was weakened due to being roasted? Plus Hopper has faced off with these things before, so has experience, has outwardly said he wasn't afraid of dying anymore, so he's fearless, and he's protecting Joyce, so he has someone to fight for.
I've seen much worse hero making in TV and movies.

Him slaying the super demigorgon was great (especially while wearing a Hulk Hogan shirt), I just hated the Russian angle period in both S3 and S4.

Just recently finished.
This season gave us more answers by far than any other season, so it gets credit for that. Vecna was well done, tying him in to the rest of the series.
Max has always been one of the better actors on this show, but she really outdid herself and was the highlight of the season. Dustin is good but otherwise the younger kids have outgrown their appeal on the show.
Steve of course continues to be awesome. Hopper is as great as ever, even if the Russian prison storyline was mostly unnecessary to the plot.
The bullying storyline was ridiculous and tiresome.
Eddie started out so annoying, enough to make me not want to continue, and then I was happy he disappeared from the middle episodes. But then he returned… and… continued to be annoying. A highlight of the season for me was when he was eaten by the flying creatures.

I liked him. A bit overly cartoonish .I get that he was supposed to be the Native American version of Spicoli but he came off more like Poochie from itchy and scratchy show.

Eddie. Outside of Max, he was the star in my opinion. He started off as being a standard high school burn out loser. But as the show went on you really wanted to pull for him more and more as he realized what was going on.

And it’s whatever, but I do agree with someone above that said it seemed like they were pushing it damn near every time Will was on screen. Just felt really forced and out of place.
I really loved this series but the gay stuff was ridiculous.
So we have Will gay, Robyn gay and a bisexual band chick that she likes. At the end of the season episode, you can tell they are angling that story with the red head band chick. It's just unnecessary to the whole series.
But yeah this season was overall really good, though I was disappointed for some reason when Vecna turned out to be a human turned whatever. I just wanted him to be an underworld demon. But I did like his story regardless. Well done.
