I'm about to make my wife watch it with me so she can see what movie I loosely based my life on in 2008.
I wish the unrated version was available for free streaming so she could see Gus Hayden's mutilated genitals but oh well, the YouTube version will do.

Just watched it a few days ago. Incredibly funny. “It is estimated bears kill over 2 million salmon a year. Attacks on bears by salmon are much more rare.” Lmao.
Fat Jonah Hill in the RV playing the guitar singing about his stepmom’s hearing problems and complaining about how loud his music is while Justin Long is crying. Lmao.
Idk why, but one of the funniest scenes to me is when they meet “Dick” and they’re all riffing jokes on his name, but Justin Long’s character is literally making jokes about the name Dick itself.
“Does your name get hard in the morning?”
ETA: PlutoTV has the unrated version on demand. Free but with ads.

I have shed more tears from laughter watching this movie than any other movie.

"Do you like your name? Do you like Dick?"

“Menacing and terrifying, the shark has been menacing and terrifying for over a decade”
“Sharks are found on only two places on earth, the Northern and Southern Hemisphere”

"What's a three letter word for man?"
"Dude"
"No, that's 4. Dud, maybe?"

I always appreciate this place for turning me on to several really good movies / shows I probably would have never seen, so I'm going to trust y'all and see this one over the weekend. Trouble is this has very low ratings on IMDB and RT so I'm a little skeptical.

If you like goofy movies like Beerfest, Grandma's Boy, or Super Troopers you'll like Strange Wilderness.

I remember being disappointed in it after it came out. It's funny in parts (and quotable), but not near as funny as I had hoped considering who all was in it.
It just didn't hit with me as much as its contemporaries did. I also haven't seen it in probably the last 15 years, so maybe I'd like it better now. Who knows. I just wanted to temper your expectations a bit.

If you don’t literally lol 6-10 times or more during this movie, there’s something wrong with you.

That shark was the funniest part of the movie to me and the laugh sound they made for it.

Started this movie last night. It's ok. Has some great moments though. All movies Steve Zahn is in seem to have a certain feel, and this one hits that vibe.
One thing that sucked about the movie on youtube is that they heavily censored foul language. It's very distracting.
