Wasn't as terrible as I've heard. The best? Far from but we are talking about a franchise where a brother wanted to poke his sister during the first movie and laser swords. I'll give it a 6/10. Good popcorn movie.

The general consensus of this board has been 5-7/10 and feel the same. Fun film with a few insignificant flaws.

Enjoyed it also. Didnt mind it one bit. After reading the bitches and gripes people have, I thought it was a good ending to the series. My only wish is they would have had Maz explain how she got Luke’s LS.

That's the only thing you want explained?

Insignificant flaws such as destroying this moment from the original trilogy:

LINK

And thus destroying the arc of the most important character of the saga?

After watching the last one, you know the series wouldn’t be perfect. They wrapped it up fairly well, and it was an exciting movie that kept you entertained.

Would make a good story. Not really concerned with all the shite you concerned with. I enjoyed the movie and could care less about all the trivial bullshite. After the OT, nobody really gave a shite about the crap people bitch about now. When ROTJ ended in 83, those of us that grew up on SW didn’t piss and moan. Just enjoy them for what they are and quit trying to figure out why they didn’t do this and didn’t do that.

Loved it

10x better than Last Jedi.

Less stupid humor
Less rose
Poe and Finn did a better job

You mean basic plot elements and character motivations?

That second act where Ray, Poe and Finn are all together traveling around was great. The three had outstanding chemistry. There should’ve been way more of that in this trilogy.

Yep. Their dialogue in Jedi was awful. I knew when Jedi started and Poe made that cringeworthy joke we were in for a ride

I enjoyed it for the most part. But some parts of the movie were just really chaotic. And there were quite a few WTF and SMH moments.

I remember coming out of the theatre when I was 13 after watching ESB and being completely confused on how Vader could be Luke’s father. We didn’t sit around and nitpick every little detail or dive into the mindset of what they were doing or where they were going with character development or whatever these young people bitch about these days. We just wanted more. I’ve said my peace, I thoroughly enjoyed the last 3 movies, and yes TLJ was hard to sit through.
