I don't think this trilogy can be redeemed so a giant heaping pile of shite where they try to cover all the popular social views of Disney would be hilarious. Especially seeing all the hardline "star wars can do no wrong" guys try to defend it.

In a movie that takes place in space with endless possibilities of race, gender, etc...I wouldn’t care if they just did it, but the pandering is what makes it annoying as hell.

They’re trying to make StarWars into something more than it ever was.
It’s been a coming of age tale, father/son tale, and wrapped in Good v Evil and redemption of a sort.
The political tripe, the romance focus, the space horse nonsense, is all shoe-horned drivel that seems awkward and forced.

the movie was always going to be trash after what RJ did in TLJ
