Star Wars Music - How does John Williams Dual of the Fates stand against his other work

I have been on a kick for the past 2 weeks listening to Star Wars music composed by the great John Williams. All of us know his music. It's been in all the great movies.
With all of that in mind, how does dual of the fates from the phantom menance stand against the greats like Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Shindlers List, etc.

Duel of the Fates is his best work IMO, and that is really saying something.

I thought Across the Stars from Clones was one of his best ever, regardless of the turd it helped to polish.

It is very good but I am severely biased to The Imperial March. Probably one of the most iconic pieces of movie music

I would have to say, and this is just my opinion.
Star Wars songs, if ranked in popularity and noteriety have to be like this.
1. Star Wars Theme (crawl music)
2. Imperial March
3. Dual of the Fates
4. Binary Sunset

I wouldn't disagree here. If we are just going on most iconic, i'd say it would either be Imperial March or the SW opening crawl.
If I'm just judging based on the overall piece of music, I think Duel of the Fates is the past piece he has ever done. It is a masterpiece.

I personally like his Anakin vs Obi Wan music from Revenge of the Sith. But everything John Williams does is amazing. He is one of the best composers ever.

The theme song he did for Hook is perfect for that movie.

Battle of the Heroes is underrated AF. That's the Anakin vs. Obi-Wan music.

what i like about that song is the constant drum pace. makes me feel stressed. like the song is a buildup to tragedy.

As far as iconic?
Duel of the Fates will never be in the same league as the Opening Crawl, Superman, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Home Alone, Jurassic Park, or Harry Potter for that matter. Average idiot people hear those themes and know the movie instantly, that same idiot hears Duel of the Fates and probably doesn’t know it’s Star Wars.
But as far as greatest themes for us knowledgeable folks that he’s ever done it’s up there. Battle of the Heroes and Order 66 are underrated gems as wel
