When she was in the bomb bay, were the bomb bay doors not wide open?

Here's something I've just thought about: We're running out of fuel is the plot... This is fricking Star Wars. A lightsaber seemingly lasts forever. Are you meaning to tell me that they still use fricking gas on their cruisers? They really only have enough fuel for last 3 or so days? Really? Our ships these days can last way longer than that.

Did I say it was camel breaking? No, I just said it was really weird.

I just took that as those ships have some type of protective field there to protect those in the ship. Not anything we haven’t seen before, like the docking bays in any of the ships.

The beginning of the movie is them literally getting everything ready to evacuate, and 10 minutes later they are running out of fuel? Did they forget to top off their ships before they left or something?

Seriously, how was it not already fueled to the max? That's something they should be prepared for. The movie just gets more and more infuriating the more you think about it. The Plinkett Review for this should be amazing.

Also, purple hair chick staying behind was so pointless. Her strategy was one that could have been done via auto-pilot. The only reason they gave her character the idea to stay behind is so they have a cool way to use her when their plan doesn’t work. Logically though, they just set the ship to pilot itself, and everyone gets on the escape pods.

By the way, we today have a aircraft carrier that can run continuously without needing to be refueled for 20-25 years: LINK

And hey, the fuel is running out in less than a week! Just rubbish.

I wonder if the ships use diesel or unleaded. You’d think they would have advanced technology and not require refueling.

Or put a droid in the driver’s seat and let the droid light speed Kamikaze into the fleet. I mean...come on. How did no one think of that?

They more I think about this character, and how her role should have been given to Ackbar (Rest in peace, you deserved better) the more annoyed I get.

It's a horrible premise using a dumb plot device. The movie was full of them.

Bombs "falling" and a single, portable trigger to release them from extremely slow ships.

A huge hole at the top of the Dreadnought that, if hit, destroys the entire ship.

Finding a single code breaker in the entire galaxy in enough time to: have a janitor and a mechanic convince him to willingly board Snoke's ship and disable a device located in the center of the ship that no one knows if he can actually disable.

Yeah, I know this a movie series where people fight with laser swords and have telekinetic powers, but TLJ required tons of suspension of disbelief, just for common sesne shite.

Plot doesn’t work at that point. Poe would trust him. The plot needed arbitrary distrust.

The plot needed a more competent writer.

you can make an infinitely better movie by cutting out over half of it...but it would still suck. it would only be redeeming to the fanboys, but it won't matter. the next installment will move forward with what rian Johnson did

star wars is dead.

I actually can’t recall a single Star Wars plot that hinges on running out of fuel.

It really does bring into question how ships like the Death Star are ”fueled”. Imaging that gas station.
