Halfway through episode 1, nothing shocking at this point.
btw, I thought he only won what was like 4m in US dollars?

The Russian Roulette scene at the end of Episode 1 was the best acting the show has done.

Sick at home today with Strep+flu so I'm binge-watching. So far so good. I didn't expect a new twist on the organ harvesting subplot.

Binged it today, home sick
It started strong then just sucked big time ...
Getting away from the good guy bad guy chase was a dumb 'move, didn't care about all the other characters except the established ones. the forced trans thing was so fricking dumb it distracted from the flow of the show, it's like someone nonstop toxic farting your face while trying to eat an amazing meal at nice steakhouse.
Disappointed, still will watch to see how it ends, but the show went waaaaay down for me.

Just started Episode 6 and it's the first round of Mingle (Game 3)
Not sure how they're going to kill off 200+ contestants in two episodes so this will definitely roll over into Season 3

Yeah, the trans thing is too on the nose. Feels forced like Netflix told them that they wouldn't get paid unless 1/456 was a tranny with a sympathetic backstory.
It's definitely a different vibe than S1. Less brutality & more humor. Some if it lands, but most doesn't.
Tbh, I'm also having a helluva time differentiating the women on this show beyond the grandma & the tranny & the witch.

Wonder where they get the guards? How do you advertise for someone who is willing to gun down hundreds of people at a time? It's always felt like a big plot hole to me.

It's written in the contract that they have to finish the games unless voted on so I will assume S3 will have the outcome or some kind of twist

Are you saying the guards are North Korean defectors? That would make sense, but there's a scene in S2 that kinda disproves that.

Who didn't see the Frontman entering the game when it was titled "Player 1" after the back and forth in the limo about the old man knowing he lost prior to dying?
Don't remember the backstory, but any chance old man was Frontman and Cops dad? I know he's "dead' but don't think they've ever explained.
