A movie about the steroid era of baseball with the home run race interwoven

I’ve always wanted a movie about the Bay Bridge World Series when the earthquake hit told from Al Michaels POV. For a long time he was the only person able to get info out about what happened. I want Paul Giamatti to play Michaels.

There's something here. Play up the stakes, as if the world shuts down for curling and curling updates. Two otherwise irrelevant countries, say Denmark and South Korea, have to curl against each other for internationally renowned dominance and Unipolar Supremacy. Mads Mikkelsen and Bobby Lee can be the respective captains, and they have to focus on the match of their lives while having international supermodels just throw themselves at them.

Call it Cold War.

I'd love to see what kind of shite McGuire and Sosa were dealing with during the HR chase.
