Spoilery Thrones question for book readers

Has there been any news if Aegon (fAegon) will make an appearance in the new season? Obviously Tyrion is already on Mereen and so they'd have to introduce him in another way.
But I can't see them just doing away with that storyline completely. As we are seeing with this season, we are getting Iron Island's Kings moot, river lands stuff, and probably other storylines in a different order (but not forgotten).
I guess they might be shifting Aegon story to Dorne and the Martells?

I believe they are giving that storyline to the Martells

I've heard they aren't incorporating Aegon into the show. I've also heard he was created by GRRM when the books went from 3 to 7, so he wasn't originally part of the plan. How true is this second part? Who knows. It could've been a rumor I read, but I don't recall where I saw this.

i totally forgot about him. he will be a nonfactor

My guess is that the showrunners thought that storyline would take too long to play out, so they didn't even bother. He obviously isn't going to factor into the endgame of the books. Also it would've tied Tyrion up too long from meeting Dany (just like it did in the books). I think the Kings Moot & Riverlands storylines will play a bigger role in the endgame, so they are working them in.

Probably right. They better include the Manderly storyline in. That was some of my favorite chapters in Dance With Dragons.

It was a pretty interesting side story in the books - especially Connington. But I'm pretty sure his absence from the show thus far is a strong indication that his was a dead end story. Neither Varys nor Illyrio nor anyone else has mentioned him in the show and as you say they skipped Tyrion's travels with him and gave Connington's greyscale storyline to Jorah.

Man, couldn't disagree here more.
Totally pointless piece of shite side story. Bored me to tears.
