Spinoff: John Goodman...underrated?

In reading the 10 Cloverfield Lane thread, I started thinking of some of the great roles that John Goodman has played. In my opinion, he is underrated as an actor. What do you think about the perception of his acting abilities...is he underrated or not? What are some of your favorite Goodman roles (TV or Film)?
My favorite Goodman roles:
Gale Snotes - Raising Arizona (one of my favorite roles, ever)
Walter Sobchak - The Big Lebowski
Big Dan Teague - Oh Brother Where Art Thou
Creighton Bernette - Treme
Gil John Biggs - Alpha House

I agree with this.
I thought Treme was a crap show and quit it after a few episodes, but his character was one of the few that interested me.

His work for the Coens is stellar. You left off Charlie Meadows in Barton Fink.

At this point with all the love threads about him, he's overrated.
A TV show actor, who then basically repeats a character in movies.
Still love Matinee and Arachnophobia and Always and Raising Arizona though.
His fun acting and solid work and movies before every fan went all Lebowski.

John is a good actor, but if anything he's overrated.
