So is it officially the "Spider-Man: Home Trilogy" now?

There is no way marvel is airing everything out of order. If Spider-Man is coming out this Christmas, then that means Black Widow, The Eternals, and Shang Chi are all coming out within the next nine months

As of now, they are:

Black Widow - May 7, 2021

Shang-Chi - July 9, 2021

The Eternals - November 5, 2021

Black Widow is already out of order anyway. As long as it comes out before any tie-in characters show up in a show, its fine.

They should do a SpiderMan Home Alone where he’s all alone in the Avengers Base against the Sinister 6 at this point with these film names.

Should’ve done the same as HBO, it’s not like Disney hasn’t done the same thing with it’s movies over the last year.

It’s not. It was/is the next film up.

If you are talking about the Disney+ shows, while they will tie in, they aren’t held in as high regard as the films.

FWIW, there are a bunch of fake names being thrown out there, including by the cast themselves. Bet the title has some sort of spoilery name so they are holding off on it.

ETA: Apparently it’s legit.

If I had to venture a guess, the No Way Home part is in regards to the other Spider-Men that will be pulled into the MCU.

No Way Home...

things will never be the same? Peter is on the run? Gets sucked into the multiverse with Ned and MJ, they can’t get back to the MCU Prime? Ned turns into a supervillain? MJ is killed? I guess I can go watch a speculation video but I might go dark on this one. So much content coming out before then anyway.

I just meant Chronologically. It being set pre-Infinity War makes it pretty flexible.

I wouldn’t think there’s any sort of direct tie-in between SM:NWH and any of the three you referenced, so release order shouldn’t matter much. Doctor Strange 2 is a different story as we know both films tie into WandaVision and the good Doctor is appearing in NWH.

I’m low key really excited for a SM movies set around Christmas. Should give a very different aesthetic and tone than we’ve ever seen from the character in previous films.

I look forward to Spiderman: Homeward Bound The Incredible Journey where the 3 Spiderman actors go on an adventure together.

Am I the only one who doesn't care for the whole multi-/parallel universe concept? A lot of times it just seems like lazy writing. Need a version of this hero to have this particular/additional skill? Voila! Earth 63 at your service.

It was fine for a one-off like the Spiderman animated movie. It just gets tiresome dealing with a dozen iterations of the same characters within the same story line.

Do it like they did with Mulan - make it a premium view in March and release it on Disney + to all subscribers in May or June
