Bring on the downvotes, but this was my least favorite of the Holland movies. Thought the pacing was pretty bad and wasn’t as fun as the other 3

After credit scene is ok not worth staying for unless you're a super fan. Pretty sure it's setting up for Secret Wars considering Tom probably isn't in Doomsday

Maybe I agree? I remember thinking it was dragging slightly 1/4 to 1/3 the way in, but for me the differences in all 4 movies are marginal… they’re just different in their own ways.
This franchise has been consistently putting out good, fun movies.

I have not been a big fan of Holland’s spider man films or how the MCU has portrayed spider man in general.
I know I’m going to get laughed at here but Brand New Day is my favorite spider man movie ever made. I called multiple friends and family on the way home from it telling them they absolute have to see it.
Our theatre did a standing ovation. I’ve NEVER witnessed that in a movie. This is a much watch. I give it a 9.5/10.
I also realize this movie isn’t going to be for everyone. It’s got a great message about being alone in it. He’s in the spidey suit 80% of the movie which is insane to me. So well done. I really hope whoever wrote and directed this get the remaining two Holland movies.

I really enjoyed it as well ....Definitely my favorite tom Holland Spiderman. This movie went back to what Spiderman really is. It reminded me a lot of the Tobey Maguire Spidermans

I thought it was still a good movie but agree it was probably the weakest of his Spider-Man movies

I felt the same. It's a small scale Spider Man movie making it more like Homecoming than the other two. It was a good movie, slow at times, but overall I enjoyed it.

All of this. It reminded me of the second and third Toby movies in all of the best ways without feeling like a rip off and while doing interesting things with similar themes. My only criticism is that it was a little long, but it’s a good ride that’s never boring.
There’s less marvel quipping in this movie. The jokes that are there mostly land, breathe, and never feel out of place or break the tension. This movie really does keep the tension going, too, and while the plot twists are foreshadowed, they’re never telegraphed. There’s also some legit creepy stuff here. It kept me on the edge of my seat at times in a good way.

Also Peter just left the inhibitor device at DDC with a bunch of people that want to control what's basically mutants. That could possibly play a major factor in the X Men movies down the line

I doubt they were able to replicate considering they'd have had to remove it from Jean.

Also really showing what he'd capable of if he doesn't hold back. Oh and damn is Jean already powerful and she hasn't even met Xavier yet

She held a couple of blocks under her control, but at base level after working with X, she easily puts whole major cities to sleep.

I'm sure if Peter was able to upgrade Bruce's tech in a day an entire government department focused on suppressing mutants could eventually mass replicate that tech.

Yes, if they got their hands on it. I don't believe they had a chance to remove it from Jean before the botched brain test.
I could be wrong. It's all speculative.
