Agree or disagree? I think the Sopranos is the best show ever created and nothing can compare not even the GOT.

sopranos is better than GoT, but that's all that difficult ... BB, MMen and the Wire are also much better ... GoT is still very entertaining, tho ...

If that's your opinion, you don't need to start a thread looking for validation. You can't be "wrong" about your own opinion.
Personally, I think GoT is the best drama series of all time. Sopranos is okay, but they drew it out for too long and honestly, New York/New Jersey people are just stupid and gross to me. The accents alone made me want to turn it off more than once.

GOT is the most entertaining but it's certainly not the best acted or written. Sopranos, Wire, and Mad Men are all better in both of those areas.

I'm almost done the first season of GOT and I remember liking sopranos and mad men waaaayyyy much more at this point in the series. GOT is actually pretty boring.

They are completely different shows. I think they are both incredibly well done for what they are. For me, Thrones is a better show. But there is no character on Game of Thrones that matches Tony Soprano. Period. And I love many of the actors on Thrones, especially Peter Dinklage.

The first 3 seasons of Breaking Bad were good while the final 2 were phenomenal.
I watched the Wire and liked it but never got the love for it.

This is a good answer. When you compare movies from different genre you immediately introduce a genre bias. I favor the fantasy, Lord of the Rings type genre so I enjoy GoT much more than I do the gangster/thug-life type movies and TV shows.
