I've seen enough porn to know how that goes Sophie.

Then don't be a cop.

And what better way of doing that than becoming a cop?

That scene changed my life as a child. Movie came out when I was 8. Kidman was drop dead gorgeous in that movie too.

I doubt shes short on acting jobs. I doubt anyone associated with GOT is short on work.
This fad already happened. Everyone in GoT was getting movie roles right and left and almost all of them were bad or flops and usually both.
Emilia Clarke has been particularly awful.
Her GoT popularity had a lot more to do with her getting naked every other episode in the beginning than her "talent"

That and her character is more about hype than actual substance. On the show, she really has no depth other than: "I'm hot, I have dragons, now bow down"
Her acting abilities compared to Lena Heady, Charles Dance, and Sean Bean are just laughable. Even Kit Harrington can act circles around her.

Never thought I’d say this but “frick the police!”
Wonder if she is into handcuffs...

Most of the ones you are listing were already well established actors, just not necessarily household names in the US.
Hell, I may just have to watch The Golden Child again soon in order to watch Dance chew the scenery as a Satanic cult leader.

She looks way older than her age.

She'll either be drop dead gorgeous into her late 50s or look Hagrid by 30.

Lena Heady has very little to work with these days, but she still manages to be fantastic in every damn scene.
Hell, Coster-Waldau’s performance in the final scene of 8x01 is worth talking about - and it’s eight seconds without a single line.
Turner and Clark are the unfortunate misses in an otherwise exceptionally well cast show.
