Elon definitely making sure it doesnt get removed
It wont match the theater experience but certainly an option for people that refuse to support the film

The sound is even worse than when we saw it in the theatre
It’s hard not to laugh at the beginning with Travis Scott. It seems like a comedy at the beginning

I still won’t watch it.
McG is better than Nolan with half the budget.

That’s because it is. Everything looks so dim and tan. The film has wooden acting and absolutely looks like shite.

I’m gonna trip some up but my suggestion? Go see it in theater as it was intended.
If you’ve seen it once before, I guess I get it, but first timers should go see it on the big screen.

You know Terminator Salvation cost over $200 million dollars in 2009, right? And that it was a bad movie that lost money?
Is 200 half of 250? I know I'm not very good at math.
McG stopped getting big studio jobs because he became associated with expensive whiffs.
But, hey, maybe someone will call this comment clever tomorrow, when you post it for the 40th time in the past 5 weeks.

I did a fast watch to see that major parts that interested me. I thought the overall lighting was way too dark for my taste. TBH I like the Armand Assante TV Mini-series much better.

The cell phone recording of a screen in the dark wasn't lit well? Imagine that.

I saw the first couple of minutes and it was low resolution (gonna guess 480, maybe 720 at the upper end) and the bard sceme was really dark and murky.
However, even if they had access to the theater 4k file it would still look dark on a phone or computer. The files for the 4k digital projectors in theaters have the brightness dynamic range adjusted for light-controlled theaters. If they used the same brightness dynamic range in a theater as they do for streaming and physical media releases, bright scenes would blow out people's eyeballs in a dark theater. Anyone who has watched a movie on one of the SOTA TV panels that can produce over 10,000 nits in a dark room knows a basically all-white scene is almost painful. If you plan to watch those types of panels in a light-controlled room, especially with HDR content, you have to adjust the brightness down.
Judging picture or sound off a bootleg is like judging the beauty of a woman based on a 4-year-old's drawing of her.
