I enjoyed it more than I thought... Room mate who is a huge comic/x-men fan hated it.
bad part is I wasted 72 minutes going to a "free" site who then cut off last 30 minutes of movie for me.

Ha! You can really see the difference in the level of comic nerds between this board and AICN.
On AICN everyone hates the movie and here it seems most people like it.
I'm not a big comic nerd, but I do freaking hate when they kill characters and change characters that have 30 years of back story.
I do agree that comics are not realistic with enormous insane fights with no injuries. They need to add some redshirt super heroes and villains and kill them. Not main characters.

Well yeah that was one odd thing about movie. I mean I do not know much about comic books but I know a few big names were killed off in this movie.
Was odd actually watching them die, thinking to myself "why".
Movie was entertaining which is all a movie is suppose to be. If you were not real big into comic books but know who Wolverine is then I do not see why you wouldn't like the movie.

the whole deadpool thing at the end, sucked some serious arse. I mean seriously, Ryan Reynolds for that? I keep hearing stuff about the cast but most of them are bit players. I was excited about Gambit but his 10-15 minutes in movie are kinda pointless along with a few other guys.

That is weak. Unless they fire Friedman and sue him then they are a bunch of hypocrites. How can they sue joe blow, when they don't sue their own employees for the same behavior. Especially since the case is a slam dunk since he admitted the downloading.

that is very true, and how can they say that the leaked version is not the finished version, I mean what can they possibly do in a few weeks time, if the movie sucks, it sucks.

movie didn't suck until last 15 minutes, but I am someone who knows nothing about background of characters. If you like comics and know these backgrounds then you will be disappointed.

This version is several months old.
They did not like the original shoot of the film so they did extensive reshoots that add about 20 minutes to the film.

The final version is the ONLY version that should be reviewed. Just sayin' so don't be hatin'!

Well normally a workprint would be very close to the final version. In this case the studio or director or someone up top did not like the film as is so they shot additional scenes.
