Decided to re-watch Smallville for the first time since it first aired and just got to season 4, where Lois Lane is introduced. Holy crap, Erica Durance was/is smoke.

Is she the best Lois Lane?

Smallville’s entire run was graced by beautiful ladies. Lana, Lois, Chloe, and the criminally underrated Tess we’re all hot in their own right.

Yes.

Also...

The best Lex
The best Jonathan Kent
The best Clark Kent
And created two characters that became canon (Lionel Luther and Chloe Sullivan)

Smallville is great.

All the CW shows stack the female cast with hot chicks. That was their MO since inception.

I enjoyed the show but have been afraid to rewatch it all these years later because im not sure if it holds up well.

Am I wrong?

It holds up ok, but I also listen to Rosenbaum's podcast and now to the Welling/Rosenbaum re-watch podcast. They are waaay behind me, though.

I agree with above posters, too. The Kreuk pool scene... yoinks.

Weird. My post above was missing, and I replied to ask why it was gone... and now it's back.

Anyway. Lana = fire. Lois = smoke.

Those are just the regulars.

Kelly Brook as Lex's girlfriend
Lara Vandervoort as Supergirl
Sara Carter was Clark's girl for a couple of episodes.

The show lost something when Lex left. That being said, it really is a fantastic Superman story

Agreed, but it was still pretty solid to the end.

Smallville Lex was much more of a villain and a threat than Donner Lex. And Rosenbaum knocked it out of the park.

She was 17 when the show started and for the first couple of seasons was working in TWO shows (Smallville and a CBC show [Edgemont]).

She's almost 40 and still looks damned good.

Clark’s BFF was more of a threat than a guy who launches 2 nukes so he can own beach front property?

It’s been a while since I watched Smallville but i remember Lionel seeming like a bigger villain but figured that was a product of Clark/Lex being kids or younger at least.

Hackman’s Lex is more like Nicholson or for that matter Cesar Romero’s Joker more cartoonish but fun

But still better than Kevin Spacey or Jesse Eisenberg IMO
