I loved this show in high school and because of quarantine I decided to binge watch it.

However,
- Lex has said at least 10x that Clark is no longer welcome in the mansion yet Clark still walks in without problem

- Clark has said multiple times over the seasons when he meets a girl with powers, that he has never felt connected to someone like that before. Almost like he doesn't remember he said that about other female characters

- Show is more adult than I remember with the cursing/sexiness/etc

- Lana and Clark are a fricking joke and they should have killed the will they/won't they after S2.

- I never realized the huge plot holes until the rewatch. Sometimes they have some serious continuity issues

- Lionel and Martha, no just no... Wtf her husband has been dead less than a year and she has feelings for his enemy? That was just stupid

- Lex and Lana, this one makes no sense other than to put a wedge between Clark and Lex. However, they don't mesh as a couple and Lana going between good and bad makes no sense.

- Lex is awesome and I enjoyed the earlier seasons where he is trying to navigate between doing good and being evil. Like it was an actual struggle for him because he was jealous of the Kent's.

- damn shame the guy who played Pete was arrested for drugs and sent to jail. I actually liked the character and would have enjoyed seeing him later

- Lois is so fricking hot

- They should have never killed Jimmy, that was just stupid

- The last few seasons were really over the top and lame

- Clark is really selfish person who only thinks of himself and Lana a lot of times. He continues to blow up on Chloe despite everything she has done for him

- Overall on rewatch I still enjoy the coming of age of Superman and really enjoyed Clark's struggles to accept his destiny. Clark and Lex are the best two of any movie/TV show in my opinion.

Best on screen representation of Lex Luthor.

Best on screen representation of Lois Lane.

Best on screen representation of Clark Kent.

Lionel Luthor was a fantastic character that was created from whole cloth (did not exist in the canon - does now)

Chloe Sullivan was a fantastic character that was created from whole cloth (did not exist in the canon - does now)

Yes, it was sometimes formulaic and had plot issues galore, but it also had some great storytelling (to the point that it added two characters to the Superman canon) and they were really pitch perfect in their casting.

It was a damned enjoyable series and a true groundbreaker (just about everyone in the Arrowverse admits it paved the way).

Plus...two damned good soundtracks.

Eh... only character he really did that with is Alicia, aside from wolf girl in Season 1.

Maxima put him under her spell, but I don't remember any other girls with powers that he fell for.

Yeah, the first 4 seasons were the best but this shite got tiring as hell, even in Season 5 when they finally got together after not getting together, god damn this pissed me off.

There was a lot of smoke on that show, Lois obviously , but Kara, Tess Mercer, that Dr Lex was married to for a bit.

I also liked how they brought in so many people from other Superman movies/shows : Annette O Toole, Chris Reeve, Terrance Stamp, Teri Hatcher, Helen Slater, Dean Cain, Margot Kidder but the best cameo was Tom Wopat as Jonathon's friend and the song on the radio was the theme from the Duke of Hazard

Without any doubt. I liked this show mainly because of this. The slapstick Luthor that the damn movies always give us is fricking dumb.

i forgot about Pam Grier. I always like watching old shows and seeing people is guest roles that went on to be stars later. I've been watching Cheers and Michael Richards and Nancy Marchand (Livia Soprano) were guest stars in an episode

I don't hesitate that Smallville was life for a few years

I've rewatched Seasons 1-7 multiple times.

Never finished the series!

I just find it funny he tell Clark he is not welcome then the next episode is Clark walking in uninvited again..... Over and over and over again. You would think with all the security and cameras, Lex would know he was coming since he isn't always using his power to get in when he is grilling Lex about meteor freaks.

Was funny to me when clark was doing Red Kryptonite, was telling Lex what he was going to do with his Lamborghini and pulling arse in metropolis.

I wish we could have just had a season of Clark doing shite like that. Trying out for the nfl/olympics, starting fights, renting out a hotel to house his reverse gangbangs, Etc.

James Marsters as Brainiac was also a win for casting.

Ericka Durance was perfection.

Umm...

I love E. Durrance, but let's not pretend K. Kreuk was a dog.
