After the events of Endgame and WV I think Wanda has to be in the top 5 and the conversation of most powerful. Obviously Strange and Thor are also in this discussion as well but I think we have only seen the tip of how powerful Strange can be. Up next would be Captain Marvel just based on her movie and Endgame it's clear she's insanely powerful but we haven't seen enough of her to gauge just how powerful she is. Finally I'd also put in Vision even with him being dead. He had a nearly indestructible body and was powered by the mind stone.

I think after this next Dr. Strange movie we'll have a a better understanding of both Strange and Wanda.

Captain Marvel, in the comics, absorbs energy (though her powers don't originally come from an Infinity Stone).

It does mean that people firing energy blasts at her are just making her stronger.

He really hasn't showcased that ability since his origin movie.

Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame don’t even happen if they didn’t nerf Wanda for those. It’s actually a joke watching her hand to hand fight in those movies after seeing what she did in WV.

Well, they had to:

Nerf Thor by making him out of practice, out of shape, and suffering from PTSD in Endgame

Have Thanos sacrifice his own army to keep Wanda from killing him

Have Captain Marvel fly off into parts unknown, despite the fact that it was TIME TRAVEL. They could have waited for Thor to get back in shape, wait for Captain Marvel get back, then send the two of them to the planet that Thanos was on before he destroyed the stones by a day or two. They wreck him, get the gauntlet, get back and figure out a way to use it without dying. Either Marvel or Thor, or if need be wait for Banner and Tony to figure something out.

So how does that work?

Is Thor over in the squat rack doing barbell curls or maybe a couch to 5K program.

How does one get the god of Thunder back in shape

I mean it’s called the Power Stone for a reason bruh. That thing wipes out planets.

am beginning to think it is Wanda

She’s basically been an amateur this whole time. Imagine if you took a great raw athlete that has never played a single minute of any sport in their life, just been a gym rat and in peak physical condition and threw them on a football field after watching about 5 hours of raw game footage. Could they do something? Sure. Would it be anywhere near their potential? Lol absolutely not. That’s basically where we’ve been with Wanda. She is a rookie learning as she goes with her powers. The only one who can possibly relate to her is Doctor Strange and he has months, possibly years of training with the experts in magic.

Wanda by far. Dr. Strange might be wiser, he KNOWS Wanda is stronger.

Wanda remakes worlds with her mind in the MCU and the comic books. There are some one time story arc characters in the Comics that are more powerful than Wanda but we haven't seen them in the MCU yet, me might get one if they do secret wars.

Magical heroes have unlimited power. Take your pick. It all depends on who's writing which magical character this week.

This is why Captain Marvel was so inconsequential and boring. There were no rules or real challenges. Endgame too; why not just have her show up at the beginning and kick the purple guy's arse? Money.

Very true. In the first Avengers Hulk was feared as an unstoppable rage monster. Now he’s just another strong guy but nothing special.

Wanda is practically a god and has no idea what she is doing.

Dr. Strange could take anyone else out by transporting them into a black hole. They nerfed him a lot when he was fighting Thanos.

Should be Hulk but not the way they’ve portrayed him and they’ve made Thor weak too

Well that’s just dumb. Giving god powers to super heroes never works out great for story writing.

Even in The Flash show the writers had to do things to make it seem like Flash was actually threatened by any non speedster villains.

Right. Like couldn’t he open a portal beneath Thanos feet then close it shut as thanos fell in, cutting him in half? Like exactly what happened to the other big dude Strange fought.

Also, Thanos himself was a great villain and impressively strong and smart but in the comics he also had laser hands or something and couldn’t he grow bigger like ant man when he wanted? Maybe I’m imagining that last part.

Me too. And I give credit to the movie makers for specifying his powers derive from him and not the hammer.
