sideways.... you just plain wrong.

The average person knows who Carell is... If you ask the average person who Ed helms is they would say "Who?"... you would have to answer "Paging Dr. Fagot from The Hangover. No not Bradely Cooper, the other guy"

Same for Krasiniki. you would have to mention A Quite plce of Amazons Jack Ryan before most people would get it.

Krasinski writes, directs and stars in huge
Academy nominated box office his while Carell writes and stars in Space Force

But Krasinski isn't a household name?

Why are you getting your panties in a wad over this?

Why don't you contribute to the original question?

So who do ya got?

I liked seeing Jim from The Office kicking arse in Benghazi as much as the next guy, but Carell was pretty solid in Foxcatcher and The Big Short.

And The Way Way Back.

Also... to say that Krasinski has had a better career post Office than Steve Carell has... well, that's just stupid talk.

Im assuming you're just trolling now. Because you just described 1 single movie from Krasinski that got a single academy nom for sound editing. I applaud the effort for sticking to your original point however

I also thought Crazy, Stupid, Love was a damn good movie that Carrell was essentially the star of even with a star-studded cast.

One of my favorite movies from the last 10 years. Carrell played a great a-hole, I didn't see him having that in him, I don't think Ed Helms could play that role

I love how long the Office debate has gone on.

Is it time to talk about Amy Adams having a better career than Jenna Fisher?

One more. And I'm not trying to be a dick.

Did you actually read and learn anything from why your take was so bad?

This can be a great board sometimes and used to be for sure. I changed my opinions, found new great stuff, etc here. But I had to read.

Just saying my man.

Dude WTF? You're still stuck on this?
Do you just wallow in misery trying to change people's minds on message board?

Did you learn anything?

Looks like you didn't.Either contribute or
GTFO.

Doesn’t quite meet original criteria (sketch show) but Jim Carrey and Jamie Fox both had a far greater career then any member of the Wayans family for “In Living Color” which was their baby.

I would add Jlo too, considering she was just a backup dancer

It’s probably not just common.

Often th lead in the show is what the actor has been working towards their whole career. If the show is popular they’re usually paid well enough too.

The supporting actors often spin off or go on to be leads in their own shows. So it’s but surprising they have big careers after the show.

This cheesy little sitcom for kids aired 2010-2013 on Nick.

The lead is Victoria Justice. An absolute dime. I’d pay my meager life savings for the 2 minutes I’d need.

I
Victoria Justice has had a decent, steady career, as far as I can tell. But she has been completely surpassed by the actress/singer who played a minor character in her show. Ariana Grande rocketed from an air headed, good natured albeit somewhat bland friend of Victoria to musical superstardom.

I would also give my life savings for two minutes with Ariana, but I find Victoria sexier.

Cause you say so?

Let me see:

Co started for 10 years on arguably the most popular sitcom over that time period and was nominated for numerous Emmys

Wrote, directed and starred in a Oscar nominated film that grossed over $300 million.

Time magazine 100 most influential people
in the world

Starred as Jack Ryan

Nah,nobody has ever heard of guy.

Do you tie your own shoes?

Sorry, but he is not. Of course leading men get more notice by the public than do Directors or writers. It is what it is.
