He'll never do any of that stuff.
Late night TV is a dying medium and he's been on the record a few times over the last few years talking about how he's come close to just ending the show anyway.
Despite all the meltdowns this is probably the best possible outcome for him. He gets to be a phony left-wing folk hero, instead of the show being canceled in two or three years like it probably would have been anyway.
