You don't break it down sentence by sentence.
the show is a humorous performance filmed for television.
If Kimmel looks at the desk and says it is green it doesn't all the sudden go from a legal show to a violation of the FCC because he made a false statement.

Not the question that was asked, stay on topic.
I asked if everything that was said on the show was satire, Whether it is protected satire or not is a different discussion. We haven't gotten there yet. You claimed its a 1A violation because he was using satire. You have to prove it is satire and saying it was said on a comedy show does not prove the statement said was actually satire.
Let's try again. Is it your assertion that everything that the host of these shows say is satire, yes or no?

The comments aren’t in a vacuum. He didn’t create the joke he parroted false information he knew was false and is being promoted by violent groups who are calling for more killing. That isn’t protected.

So you think an unelected, private citizen should control networks but the FCC shouldn’t do its job? Thats pretty telling. Goes back to my original argument, the SMM amendment needs to be repealed though I fear both sides would be against it which is scary.
