I went to the national parks in Utah this past June. The Milky Way out there is absolutely incredible. That scene in the show, while not as extreme in real life, reminded me of those nights. Just awesome.

I started this show about a week ago and am already almost halfway into season 2. Great show but I find myself wondering things like: where did they get their coffeemakers? Not Amazon! Where did they get their clothing? Not all looks like it's handmade. How did the doctor become a doctor-- what kind of education is there in the silo? Why didn't they build elevators, even if just reserved for the elite?

Ok so I thought we were going to see the eventual cause of the apocalypse when they were going to Georgia. I’m assuming the giant drill is for silo creation. So the apocalypse is going to be caused by AI? Did AI launch nukes or something? If that is the case how did this shows version of Elon know that was the endgame? Instead of building silos pull the plug on the AI.

The show runners have changed things up a good bit, so I'm not sure what direction the show will ultimately go. There have been enough hints, though, that the cause of the apocalypse will probably be the same as the books.

I wish they would release the full season. Shows on streaming platforms should not release episodes weekly. I get it that they want to keep subscribers subscribed, but this is such a slow burn.
Good episode overall but it just feels like this season is inching along.

goodness the hot asian girl became real unlikeable real quick. That whole scene with at the table and then in the helicopter was just terrible writing and acting from hot asian girl and the senator.

Commons wife is unbearable. Bernard didn't know what the safeguard was, and when he found out he gave up and decided he wanted to go outside.
As head of IT, she now knows what the safeguard is and where it is, but doesn't want to stop it? Why?

She doesn’t believe it can be stopped. She is trying to stop Jules and her crew from tampering with it because she thinks that will cause Silo 1 to initiate the safeguard. Her goal is to stop them and appease the Algorithm by successfully administering Vitamin D+ to erase her silo’s memory.

Silo said the people in his silo that went outside, they didn't die at first. Then Patrick and Lukas get attacked by drones. Makes me wonder if the second part of the safeguard killed silo 17
