I do not even know what to think of this show. The constant fail is getting tiresome, but the episode was hilarious again (because of Gilfoyle and Dinesh's interactions).

It has been renewed for a third season.

My early guess is Monica changes her mind and sides with Erlich so that a new CEO can't be appointed. Don't really know what kind of leverage could be used to get Richard back as CEO.

does Richard keep his board seat without being CEO? I would think that as a majority shareholder it would still go back to that?

Martin Starr has been on point for the entire show and the dude who plays Dinesh is actually pretty hilarious in everything he does. He was in Hot Tub Time Machine 2 and was really funny in it too. Dude has great comedic timing.

I wouldn't call it constant losing. They are paving their way but just under a constant barrage of obstacles. It's what makes the show. They can't be happy frick what would Gilfoyle and Dinesh do if they didn't have something to bitch about

This show is the most dramatically intense comedy I've ever seen.

Pretty sure Monica doesn't really have any say in the matter. Raviga has 3 board votes, she was only voting on their behalf previously.

That's the way I saw it. So he's basically fricked. I love this show, but I'm not surprised they pulled this. Their formula is getting annoying

Yeah looks like you are right

Unless the agreement specifically names Monica as a board member which I doubt it does

Frankly Richard being ousted as CEO would make much more sense, he is a business moron and that is pretty much how it would play out IRL

However we now know that PP is worth $250mm to Hooli so it will be interesting to see where it goes. My guess is Richard is out, a new CEO joins the show and that dynamic plays out. Perhaps Monica becomes CEO

Completely agree, but you know Gavin is about to get ousted too, so now there's all sorts of ways the show could go. Raviga could name Gavin CEO or Richard and Gavin work together to become CEOs of their respective companies. And you know Big Head will be named CEO of Hooli and it will fail spectacularly. Will Gavin retake it at that point?

Mike Judge is awesome, but this is too much manufactured drama. Do they even try to gauge their viewers reactions I wonder? If so, they'd realize people are getting tired of the constant lose lose win lose. Yes, we know this gives us something to propel next season but believe it or not you can actually write a show that has wins too. There are ways to keep interest in a show without a constant battle. If anything, this is actually.ly turning me off a show I think is hilarious but have grown weary of the formula.

I got pissed off when Richard dropped his keys into the storm drain

Genuinely mad at judge not the characters

We iPhone carriers guard our battery life like our children. Richard doesn't have a juice pack for his phone? Seriously?

Also
No way a company the size of Hooli has an illegal employment contract

No way

Jared was Hooli HR VP, he would know the employment contract inside and out

The ending of this episode made me want to punch a fricking baby. Just when they FINALLY had won something it all goes to shite. So frustrating.

Gavin won't be fired
The board is smarter than that I hope
The stock would take a nosedive if they fired Gavin now

Perhaps Gavin is replaced by bighead but Gavin will still have power

I think Gavin offers the $250mm to reviga to save his arse on nucleus and Monica somehow gets in the way becoming the heroine to PP

When he kicked them, I said out loud "That's so stupid, why do they have to do that?!"

But you can tell the writers know the formula is getting tiring, by the way it took so long for them to get beers, lemons, get another lemon, Erlich getting lemon juice in his eye, etc. That was actually pretty funny how long they drew it out.

Even if a provision is illegal, I have never seen an employment contract without a severability clause that will sever the offending clause and keep the remainder of the contract intact.
