Shows You Enjoy But Are Tough To Binge?

After losing my internet for most of last week from the ice, I went through my backlog on my external and started binging Ray Donovan. I just finished Season 2 and enjoy it, but man it's a tough show to binge through just with how there's such little redemption from episode to episode
What are some shows that fall in the same boat for you?

I actually came here to say Ray Donovan. I quit watching several times now. I like the series, just hard to push through.

Actually maybe unpopular but for me it's Man in the High Castle. I'm not sure why, it's not like it's heavy or anything. I just can't seem to binge it and get through it even though I enjoy it.

Came here to say "Man in the High Castle."
The first season is dreadful. The ending was not great. Some storylines/characters are boring... But the meat and potatoes of the series was entertaining.
Would be a tough binge due to Season 1.

Dark S1 was pretty tough to get through, but if you didn't watch it straight through it's crazy hard to remember who was whom.
We haven't bothered with subsequent seasons.

Black Mirror is a great show but not one I can binge. Just too damn depressing.
Six Feet Under was a good show but no way I could ever binge it. I would be miserable.

Hannibal took me awhile because I quit it a couple of times. The totem pole caused the first, two week, stoppage.

I'm watching The Man in the High Castle right now. I'm very much enjoying it, but I find 1 episode a night is enough.

I decided to binge Vikings recently and it took FOREVER. The series was great, but the episodes seemed to drag on and the same thing happened in each one.

I think that's how I did it until the last season.
When I first started streaming from Prime, I started it once and quit, because I couldn't tell what was going on. A year later a thread on here inspired me to try it again. I realized I had started watching the first episode from either the third or fourth season. It made sense starting from Season 1 Episode 1.
Here's another thought about recommending how to watch another series. If you haven't seen either the English or American version of Utopia, watch the American version first. If you've already watched the English version, don't bother with the American one, unless they announce more seasons.
I watched the American one first, because I didn't know the English one was also on Prime. They're so much the same story, but the English one is much, much better. I don't know if it just has better actors, or if the little differences just make for a better story. I think I would have quit on the American version, if I had watched the English one first.

Good answer. So much potential but just couldn’t stay focused on what made it intermittently great.

While I love both shows I have to say... the first season of both The Office and Parks and Rec is not the easiest thing to power your way through. Other seasons are fantastic, don't get me wrong, but that first season be a bit of a chore.

Mad Men. Absolutely one of my favorite shows of all-time, but I have to let it "sit" between episodes.
