Obviously he is top 5 in wrestling but to me he is one of the greatest in TV history.

Hell the guy probably could have won an Oscar if he got into acting.

Probably. You can easily argue he had the greatest character in the history of wrestling. He was the ultimate TV villain from late 1997 through 2003ish. I don't think that can be disputed.

Absolutely. He was drawing big ratings during his feud with Austin.

On a mainstream scale for people who never watched or followed wrestling he is a clown who runs a circus.

For anyone who saw what he had to become and his ideas battling WCW and battling stigmas to become a mainstream entity he is a freaking genius.

Only complaint is not letting Shane run the company. Shane seemed to truly love and understand the business and how to run it. Evidence by his jumping off titantrons etc.

HHH or Paul or whatever and Steph have kinda dampened a lot of the momentum and creativity he started and are just riding an established name.

After my disgust with the current product, I started rewatching Raw on the network following when Austin beat Michaels at Mania. The product in 1998 was just superb. The crowds were rabid and engaging.

But Vince McMahon is just superb as an actor in the role he played. His facial expressions, timing, and mannerisms are second to none. He is amazing and could easily have been a legit actor.

One of the best parts of the WWF/WWE. His semi-retirement is saddening.
