Trying to decide if it’s worth the time investment. Is it one of those shows that intentionally doesn’t show you stuff so it’s impossible to know for sure what’s going on then pretends like that means it’s “smart”? Or is it just very subtle and complicated?

Wasn’t worth it for me. Watched season 1. Haven’t continued with the new season

Same here. Haven't heard anything about this season that is making me second guess that decision.

Season 1 yes. Season 2 no. Season 1 is pretty entertaining but ultimately anticlimactic.

Season 2 should have just been called “Jurassic Park: With Robots”

Season one is must watch and is one of the better seasons a show has had in the last few years. I quit season two three episodes in and I’m finally watching it again. Season two just really has a lot of unnecessary scenes and really two characters carry season two.

Both seasons are awesome and some of the best television you’ll find anywhere

In a phrase.... Hell no...

Seson 1 is intriguing, but still very slow...seson 2 is an absolute shite show mess...

After just seeing the finale, the show should be cancelled immediately. It's beyond redeemable at this point.

Seson was like a 7.5

Seson 2 was a 1.5...its that bad.

For the budget this show commands and the abysmal ratings it has had lately, HBO probably can't keep pumping money into a lifeless corps that is now Westworld.

Do not waste so much time on this show.

Westworld is a damn good show, but it's not GOT and that's the kind of tv people set their baseline at. I also think since it takes some thought, and not everyone is capable of following along, or don't want to be left confused, that detracts viewers.

If you like to watch straight forward tv, then I say don't watch it. But if you like to watch something that's going to make you question what's going on or what's the end game then watch it.

Though I would say it would probably do better as a show that was released all at once like a Netflix series.

If you think Anthony Hopkins is a good actor, or like classic Western storylines, then you should probably give it a try.

ends up like true detective 2. show just takes itself too seriously and tries too hard to be smart.

I liked S1 well enough, despite how predictable it was, but S2 is bad. I’m on E8 and just can’t make myself finish. Like that guy said earlier, it tries way too hard to be cute and smart. Typical Nolan bullshite. I’ll finish it some time this week I suppose
