Good flick. Caught it on amazon last week. Really has some intriguing “what would you do situations”. Another flick that reinforces in me that I in no way want to end up in prison.

How is this different from that movie Felon a while back with Stephen Dorff and Val Kilmer? Looks like the same exact movie.

It was badass. I didn't see the ending coming but the way everything turned out showed how intelligent and badass the character was.
I do know one thing...I'd get fricked up in prison.

Felon was about a guy that goes to prison for killing a guy and gets help from an inmate to get out. Has a good ending
Shot Caller is about a straight A guy going to prison for DUI that gets institutionalized. The choices he makes affect his entire life. It doesnt have a good ending.
Felon was a decent watch but Shot Caller is a much better movie.
