The scene where he jumps off the roof is awesome.
But I can't get over how stupid that padded suit looks. He literally looks like it's a padded suit with a skinny guy inside.

40 years later I still smile every time Chris Reeves dons the Superman suit and flies towards the camera for that first time.
I still smile every time that Archimedes the Owlship bursts up from the river in Watchmen.
And I smile every time they show this shot of Billy turning into Captain Marvel in mid-air.

The TV show changed so much from the comics that it's almost not even the same thing.

I kinda thought Billy in the comics is even younger, like 12 or so.
You give a kid (any kid) that age, that amount of power, you're going to get goofy "oh wow look at this" stuff.
I mean, I don't think it's ever been clearly determined who is more powerful, between Superman and Captain Marvel (Shazam). If he's not #1, he's definitely 1A.
