I think Ashley is involved
A few episodes ago she made a comment to Camille about how John would have never killed the girls, because he didn't want popularity, as if that was the motive. Yet she is the one constantly attention whoring throughout the whole show.

Did anybody notice at the beginning of the episode when Camille walks into the bathroom to change out of the nightgown Marian's ghost/figure is reflected in the mirror when the door shuts?

Yep. I noticed that.

Nah. Adora despises Camille’s dad, and still has some kind of flirty, or maybe more, relationship with Vickery.
To everyone saying Adora is the Lady in White, I don’t agree. The only witness to the Lady in White is that kid, who we saw be terrified of Ashley.
My final prediction is that John killed Ann, and Ashley killed Natalie.

Being flirty with him doesn’t have to mean she likes him. Could be manipulation

The rest was filmed in Barnesville Georgia
I looked this up after the first episode because the filming location screamed Deep South to me.
It was fun to find the location where they found the dead body in the alley.

I think Amma killed both girls b/c she was jealous of the attention her mother was giving them. Amma is just as much an attention whore as Ashley although she isn't quite so transparent about it.
The Adora, Allan thing seems plausible, but just judging by how these things go, if it becomes too obvious, it probably isn't right. Not enough of a twist. I think that's the red herring.

I just think right now it is was too obvious adora is the woman in white and is the killer of the 2 girls.
It totally could play out that way though and I'm building it up too much.

quote:Amma killing those two girls in that violent of a rage. I just don't buy that. I also don't consider Amma an "attention whore". She's playing her role in Wind Gap just like Jackie and Alan. The only difference is that Amma is seeking a way out of Adora's bubble.

Amma's issues with substances abuse and wanting to be in control are directly related to Adora's ability to force her to come sick (Especially given the records on her. Ex:G-Tube).

It definitely just isn't Adora. They wouldn't have revealed that with another episode to go if it was as "simple" as Adora killing everyone.
Amma is involved somehow. I think she manipulated someone to kill the girls, either Adora or someone else. Maybe Alan.

They foreshadowed that with Alan listening to music while flashbacks to him and Amma dancing by the staircase. Then you see him looking down at a knife with his headphones on.
We also need an explanation for the blood under John Keene's bed (which is clear that Ashley has something to do with that).

Just to be clear, we are talking about multiple murderers correct?
No way Adora killed the other two. Also, that condition where the parent makes the child sick usually doesn’t result in death. Do you think that was the intent or just make her sick so she could take care of her?
Also, go watch “Mom dead and dearest” on Netflix. Wow

Well Adora definitely killed her other daughter.
I doubt Adora is the only one involved in the deaths of the other girls, even if she is involved at all.
I doubt the intent was to kill her. She just got carried away and poisoned her too much to keep her sick.

Adora deflects the fact that she killed one of her daughters by blaming it on Camille at a drop of hat. This enables her to play doctor with Amma time and time again with no regrets.
The opening scene to ep seven is creepy AF. Adora's spooky arse undressed Camille, putting her in a little girl nightgown of her choosing, cataloging her supposed injuries, and then sitting there with her first aid kit watching Camille sleep and practically salivating at the chance to play doctor with her daughter.
Newsflash Adora, standing in the corner of a bedroom waiting for someone to wake up from a night of liquor, oxy and mdma is not a smart play at all.

If you've seen/liked series like True Detective, The Fall, Top of The Lake, Big Little Lies or The Killing. I think you'll enjoy this.

Enjoyed all of these but have never heard of Top of the Lake.
Where could one watch this?

Amazon Prime. It used to be on Netflix years ago.
