I can't remember the last network show I watched. - maybe The Good Place? Those ads for network shows that they show during football games - all that shite looks cheesy and awful. Lame procedurals, reality shows for idiots. There's a lot of garbage on streaming - but there's at least some prestige stuff with real actors and writers, and high production values. (Look at Alien: Earth, Task, that FX show with Ethan Hawke set in Oklahoma).

The Rookie
George & Mandy's First Marriage

this came up during the stephen cobert cancellation gutfelt has about 3.3 million viewers which is more than any other late night show, except he's not on late night he's on prime time. on thursday night he's on directly against "law and order" which gets about 1.7 million viewers and "law and order" is the number 10 rated episodic prime time network television show.
"law and order" cost 5.5 mm per episode with 3mm dollars per going to dick wolf productions. we are on the verge of network TV collapsing.

The only people that I know watch primetime programming is my in-laws, they enamored with the Masked Singer and other shows like that.

We watch and sometimes record the broadcasted local news on Tablo along with 911, also recorded Will Trent until I finally got infuriated at the shitting shite that was done to the Will Trent IP (…the books are awesome…), so High Potential on ABC on either Tablo and Hulu, broadcast football on ABC, FOX, or NBC (no shows on NBC at all), George and Mandy, Saints, and college sports on Paramount +.
The majority of our LSU sports are through Sling, tho.
But we mostly stream shows that are reruns like Bones, Big Bang, Young Sheldon, some HBO MAX shows off and on, just finished FUBAR on Netflix.
Current network Tv just sucks arse. Prime time is toilet time now for most.

Nope.
I have so many hobbies, projects and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that most of the time my TV is on one of my 850 subscribed YouTube channels.
Also, watch Prime, Kanopy, Hoopla and HBO Max only because it's free with my ATT fiber internet package.

We'll watch tv shows live that are on HBO but that's probably it.
