I've pitched a Forrest Gump sequel to friends for a while. Forrest's son is kidnapped, a la Commando and Forrest has to use his military training to fight through the bad guys to get his son back.

I'm not. Darth Maul is both in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and in Star Wars: Rebels which take place after the Phantom Menace. Obi-Wan kills him in Star Wars: Rebels.
