0This movie is currently on Amazon Prime. It’s a well done story about a group of friends at a dinner party that start having their evening altered by a nearby comet that starts effecting their surroundings. This is a low budget film done really well and is more about the story than over the top action. It’s like a less convoluted Christopher Nolan movie. Highly recommend.

Primer is on my list. I’ve heard Predestination is good too.
If you like Coherence, I would also recommend a movie called Triangle. It's not related in any way, other than doing things you might not expect.
But I would also recommend reading absolutely nothing about it or even looking at stills, if possible. Even the genre is kind of a mystery, ideally.

Primer is the standard for which all small-budget, independent films are measured. It’s that awesome.
I’ll also second Coherence as well. Really well done and was solid start to finish, which is rare for movies dealing with that type of plot (I won’t say what in order to not spoil).

on 1/13/21 at 7:17 pm to emoneyOne of my favorite films. They showed it at a little film fest in BR when it came out. In my opinion it is absolute proof that a strong story and plot out shadows big budget every time. If you think you understood it the first time, read up on it and rewatch

I never saw that show, but it did sound familiar. It was on when Buffy was on, so I doubt he was on it. Not as a regular, at least. Though I did check the cast, and Julie Benz ( Darla ) was, so that's interesting.
