My question is, which will be a better movie, Free State of Jones or Birth of a Nation?

The Girl On The Train is a pretty good book. Kinda Gone Girl-ish as far as how the story unfolds with each chapter being told from another character's POV.

Those all look pretty good. I can't wait to see The Girl on the Train. I read the book and could not put it down.

Im sorry, but the plot/premise of the Accountant just sounds stupid its so absurd.

Not sure which part is absurd. Seems pretty interesting to me.

The Infiltrator set in 1986 and we still get stranglehold on the soundtrack. I like the song, but when will they start using music from the 80's and 90's in movies?
I watched Minions last week and that soundtrack was all 60's and 70's wtf? /rant
Free State of Jones and War Dogs look good. Maybe the Infiltrator if it's not a 70's soundtrack.

Ben Affleck's character...
quote:
Chris Wolff is a math savant and accountant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance sleeper assassin for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations.
Is this just a bit TOO much? Is that even half believable? It just sounds like they tried to think of the two most opposite occupations in existence, and then make one guy do both of them. Hollywood is out of ideas. The assassin card has been so overplayed by a megaton. Especially the "just a normal guy by day ......." but in secret.....SUPER ASSASSIN NINJA WARRIOR GUY!...errr I mean...BEN AFFLECK arse KICKING CPA!"
Assassin movies with "normal guy by day.....arse kicker by night".
First of all-BATMAN is basically that.
Secondly- Mr. and Mrs. Smith, here's is the exact plot from IMDB
quote:
John and Jane Smith are a normal married couple, living a normal life in a normal suburb, working normal jobs...well, if you can call secretly being assassins "normal".
Thirdly- The Americans ? The really popular TV show? From IMDB
quote:
A pair of deep-cover Soviet spies masquerades as a typical DC couple whose children, neighbors, coworkers & friends are completely unaware of their activities. At home, they're the stereotypical parents of stereotypical kids; at work, they pose as travel agents; but at night, they weave a web of confidants, lovers, dupes, and historical figures from the Reagan-era Cold War.
There's so many more.
