But still....the original Jesus has been gone for over 2,000 years. He must have really whipped out his check book.

mel's not well liked, so it better be good or the critics will crucify him ...

Hollywood embraced him again after Hacksaw Ridge. Christianity is finally resurging again. This movie is highly anticipated and will do well. He sought Catholic clergy approval on the accuracy during the production of the first film and will do so again

Mel's in crappy family comedies like Daddy's Home 2 now. He's back until he gets me too'd.

Well that shouldn't be too hard considering what a lunatic he is when he gets drunk.

The hush money he's spending is probably why he needs to make this sequel

Do Catholics believe that Jesus went down to hell during those three days to kick some arse and take some names?

That'd be an interesting sequel. Jesus vs. Satan and His Demons John Wick/Punisher/Dynasty Warriors style.

The followup to the controversial film comes a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise in the U.S.

I thought he came to America to try and teach the indians.

My guess is it will cover the 50 days after the resurrection. There is a story there but not much to go on from the Bible itself. It could be interesting - it would be much more interesting if he covered the life of Saul (Paul) and JC appeared at his conversion and in visions.

I'm excited. Passion of the Christ is a very good movie. You don't have to be a Christian to recognize that fact.
