That scene in Terms was so well acted by Shirley. The relief she shows that her daughter is no longer in pain mixed with sadness was well done.

A scene that always makes me tear up is the final scene of "It's a Wonderful Life" when the whole town comes together to save George Bailey. Not really a sad scene but it always gets me.
+1 to the Forrest Gump scene where is meets little Forrest and the first thing he asks him is if he is smart.
